Five years ago, if you had asked me what I’d be doing in November 2016, I would have told you, with confidence, that I’d be directing the Cancer Genetic Counseling Program at Yale School of Medicine, as I had since its inception in 1996. I can assure you that I never would have predicted that I’d be the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of My Gene Counsel, and preparing for an UberPITCH competition — and yet, that is the reality.
